2 months down...10 to go!

1. Go to vegas- Trip booked for Cinco de Mayo!!

3. Take 30 yoga classes - 0
4. Average 30 miles of running/month- 22 miles total/ 11 per month
5. Take 30 spin classes- 3

14. average 3000m of swimming a week- avg/week 1651
Obviously I'm getting better, but still not up to my 'fighting speed' yet.  Still having a lot of trouble with my foot and ankle so have been spending a lot of time on the bike. And I will say that when I run, I am also counting the walking on the treadmill (doing a lot of intervals to get back on track but not the warm up and cool down.   One thing I have been really happy with is the improvement in my swim times.   I always time the first 400m I swim (since that's the distance I swam last year during my triathlon) and it keeps getting better and better.  At this rate, I'm going to have a KILLER tri swim time this year!

6. Bake 30 new recipes-- 4 this month-- 8 total

And that doesn't even include my brownies!

New Recipes this month (in case you
missed it)
5. Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
6. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cupcakes
7. Black Forest Cupcakes
8. Cherry Coke Zero Cupcakes
9. Snickers Cheesecake Cupcakes

9. Read 30 books--- 1 this month-- 4 total

And I seriously read it in a day! But I did really like it.

4. The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsela

I'm almost done with another book, but its just not going to happen this month!  Hopefully my reading numbers will increase next month cause with 10 months and 26 books left, I need to read about 2.6/month.

11. Find a perfect brownie recipe

My first attempt at this was the Fat Witch Brownies.  I have at least three more recipes ready to try, and will keep working until I find it!

12. Eat an entire hot dog

18. Send at least one "just because" card a month
I sent a bunch of cards this month and even though they all had a "purpose" its the thought and the fact I may not have normally thought to do it.   I sent a sympathy card, a get well card to a family friend and a valentine's day card to my best friend.... even though we have boys its important to remember the girls too :)

22. Complete at least three pins on pinterest/month

They were all food this month, but thats ok by me :)

1. Salsa Roll-Ups
2. Parmesean Potatoes (delicious!)
3.  Skinny Mozerella Sticks (easy and tasty!)
4. Skinny Shepherd's Pie (definitely something I will be making again)

26. Watch all episodes of Bones (81/129)

Almost all the way through Season 4!  Its definitely addicting.  The big "issue" is figuring out once we finish Season 6, how to get caught up on Season 7 before the rest of the season premieres in April.... Or at least how to finish watching season 7 before the next season begins.

28. Don't keep assignments longer than 2 weeks
Its really hard to measure this, but parents have been saying that they aprpeciate the more frequent grade reports that I've been sending.

29.  Have one night of Michelle time every 2 weeks and watch a SSB tv show or movie

This month I had a "sick" day (i had been sick earlier in the week... needed to catch up) and watched about 6 hours straight of ABC Family original shows (Pretty Little Liars & Switched at Birth).   And then I enjoyed a night of baking, wine and watching the Blu Ray release of "Breaking Dawn"

30. Buy only bottles of wine that cost more than $10.

Shockingly, I didn't buy any bottles of wine this month!   I did however buy a cube of wine, which you can not knock until you try because its actually good, and extremely cost effective at only $15 a cube (for 4 bottles worth of wine!)

Now I must be honest and admit that I had to change some of my originial list.  I found that some of the things on my list were just not "budget friendly" and I didn't want to put that kind of strain on myself with huge purchases in a certain timeframe. (ie buying a new stove & getting new carpet).   So I now have two more, which I'm honestly really excited about

13. Wake up without hitting the snooze button for an entire week (including weekends)
I am AWFUL about using the snooze button and telling myself "you can work out after work" or "its fine, that quiz can be graded tomorrow so it doesn't matter if you show up at 6 or 630".  Its the same on weekends!   I end up skipping long workouts (or moving them to sundays) since I didn't want to get up on Saturday.  I am, however, determined to change that!

23. Make a new recipe from each of my cookbooks or THROW THEM OUT!
I read about this one on a blog (but I can't remember which one).   I have a ridiculous amount of cookbooks.  I think its kinda a problem.   So I'm determined to justify keeping them, by making at least one new recipe from each one or I will have to throw out/donate the cookbook.   This also includes my ridiculous amount of cupcake cookbooks!    I honestly think its going to be a real challenge to either use them, or dispose of them but I hope to make it work!

I think I've done pretty well for the first two months... let's see if I can keep it up!
